Not Your Mama's Cinnamon Rolls

Everyone's been asking for the recipe to these Cinnamon Rolls. It's a recipe that I got from my cousin, but it's been modified for my family. It does require a little planning ahead. I prep my rolls right before I go to bed the night before. And put them in the oven to rise during the night.
Prep Time: 5 Min
Cook Time: 19 Min

12 Rhodes dinner rolls in a greased 9x13 Pan
Melt 1 stick (1/2 Cup) butter in a bowl
Add 1/3 Cup brown Sugar to melted butter
Add 1 Tsp Cinnamon to melted butter
Stir and Spoon over Frozen rolls
Place 9x13 pan in the oven and let rise during the night.
By morning they should have filled the pan.
Turn the oven on to 350, and set the timer for 19 minutes. Leave the rolls in the oven the whole time.
When the timer goes off, remove the rolls from the oven. The tops should be golden brown.
Wait 10 minutes and Frost.
Frosting:
2 Cups powdered Sugar
2TBSP butter
1 TBSP Vanilla
Sprinkle of Cinnamon
A Couple TBSP Milk, to get desired texture and thickness.
Spoon on top of rolls and Enjoy!

Carnival Party

We are transplants to Payson...going on 6 years now. And we LOVE it here! Great view, great friends, and great community activities! So when Payson Onion Days rolls around each Labor Day, we're all on board!
The carnival is my boys favorite event the whole weekend, so we make a night of it and create some memories.

Raspberry Farm Adventure

It really wasn't an adventure. My best friend Rebecca and I went to pick Raspberries at a local farm, here on West Mountain. We went after I got home from work. And we got our husbands and kids together, got em some pizza and took off! It was dusk and the Mosquitos were out in full force. We picked until dark and filled the milk jugs we'd brought. We cut the tops off of the jugs and hung them around our waists with a belt (see picture). I felt like I was wearing 2 fanny packs, but it was very convenient. The raspberry farm works off the honor code. You weigh your own berries and leave your money in an envelope on the table along with everyone else's money. Pretty trusting!
I'm not sure how it happened, but I woke up with hives all over my legs. Allergic to something...Mosquitos? Raspberry bushes? Or some other plant I rubbed my legs on.
Regardless, I medicated and turned my fresh raspberries into jam with a quick and easy recipe:
1 2/3 cups mashed berries
2/3 cup Sugar
2 TBSP Pectin
1TBSP Lemon Juice

Stir for 3 minutes (no cooking)
Pour in Jars
Freeze!
